Sally PowerPoint Copilot - AI Presentation Generator
Sally is an AI copilot add-in for PowerPoint. Give it a topic in plain English and it builds a full deck — slides, layout, content, charts, diagrams, and speaker notes — directly inside PowerPoint. It works on Windows and macOS with PowerPoint and WPS.
Sally is an agentic presentation AI: it can see every slide in your deck, inspect shapes and text on any slide, read your current selection, and then generate or edit slides with code. That means it can do both jobs — create a presentation from scratch and edit an existing deck slide by slide.
What you can do with Sally in PowerPoint:
- Generate a complete presentation from a title or an outline
- Edit existing slides — rewrite text, restyle shapes, rearrange content
- Generate speaker notes for selected slides
- Improve writing in any text box
- Create diagrams and formulas (Mermaid and LaTeX)
- Read PDFs, images, and web pages and turn them into slides
Generate a presentation from a text prompt
Describe the deck you want and Sally builds it slide by slide using generated pptxgenjs code — real, editable PowerPoint slides, not images of slides.
Example prompts:
- "Create a 10-slide presentation about our Q3 marketing results, with a title slide, agenda, 3 data highlights, and a summary."
- "Make a training deck on workplace safety for new employees, friendly tone."
- "Generate a product launch presentation for our new app, include a pricing comparison slide."
Because Sally writes native PowerPoint shapes, everything it generates stays fully editable — you can tweak any text, color, or position afterwards just like a deck you built yourself.
Edit an existing deck slide by slide
Sally can inspect your presentation before touching it:
- Get a slide overview — Sally lists every slide with its ID and page number, so it can plan multi-slide operations ("reorder these", "unify the style of slides 3–7").
- Read slide details — shapes, positions, sizes, and text content of any slide, so edits land exactly where you mean.
- See your selection — select a shape or slide and tell Sally what to do with it: "rewrite this bullet list to be shorter", "make this title 40pt and bold".
This makes Sally useful for decks you already have: cleanup passes, tone rewrites, layout fixes, or bulk changes across many slides at once.
Generate speaker notes
Select slides and ask: "Write speaker notes for these slides, about 60 seconds of talking per slide." Sally reads each slide's content and generates natural, spoken-style notes you can present from.
Improve writing on any slide
Select text in your presentation and tell Sally what you need — shorten it, make it more formal, fix grammar, translate tone. Sally rewrites the text in place. (Yes, it will even fix your typos — like "needts".)
Diagrams and formulas
- Diagrams: Sally generates Mermaid-based diagrams — flowcharts, org charts, timelines — rendered as native shapes you can edit.
- Formulas: Math content is rendered from LaTeX, so equations come out clean and professional.
Turn PDFs, images, and web pages into slides
Because Sally is an agent, your source material can live outside PowerPoint:
- PDF → slides: Convert PDF pages to images and visually inspect them — great for turning a report or paper into a summary deck.
- Analyze images: Drop in a screenshot or photo and ask Sally to describe it, extract data from it, or build a slide around it.
- Web page summaries: Give Sally URLs and it reads and summarizes them — useful for competitor overviews, research decks, and briefing slides.
- Reusable skills: Save a deck-building workflow (your company template, a weekly review format) as a skill and regenerate it any time. Sally also remembers your preferences between sessions.
